General education, not professional advice
Skillfye courses and pages are general education for adults. They explain widely used methods in business management, cybersecurity, data analysis, digital marketing and project management, but they are written for a general audience and cannot take your own situation, country, industry or organisation into account.
The courses are not legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, security, employment or other professional advice, and they do not replace a qualified professional who knows your case. Laws and regulations, such as tax rules, employment law, privacy and data protection law, consumer law and advertising rules, differ between countries and change over time. Where a lesson touches on them, it explains the general principle and tells you when to check with a professional.
No certificate and no affiliation
The courses do not lead to a diploma, an accredited certificate or a professional qualification, and they do not prepare you for any official exam. Where a lesson mentions a certification, a standard or a framework, it does so only to describe it. Skillfye is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any certification body, standards organisation, software company or platform mentioned in the courses.
No promised results
We do not promise a job, a promotion, a salary, an income, more customers, more sales or a system that cannot be attacked. What you achieve depends on how you apply what you learn and on many factors outside our control. Examples, companies and figures in the lessons are invented to illustrate a method and are labelled as examples; they are not predictions or typical results. This website contains no testimonials, ratings or success stories, because we do not publish them unless they are real and verifiable.
Cybersecurity: defensive use only
The cybersecurity course teaches you to protect your own accounts, devices and organisation. Only ever test, scan or change the settings of systems you own or are authorised in writing to work on. Testing other people's systems without permission can be a crime in Brazil (Law 12.737/2012) and in most other countries. If you suffer a serious incident, such as fraud, extortion or a data breach, contact your bank, the platforms involved, the police and, where it applies, a qualified incident response professional and your data protection authority.
Data and privacy
When you practise with data, use public or invented datasets, or data you are allowed to use. Personal data about other people is protected by laws such as the LGPD, the GDPR and the CCPA, and its use needs a lawful basis.
Tools and third parties
Where a lesson names a tool, a platform or a product, it does so to make the explanation concrete. It is not an endorsement, we receive nothing for it, and you should check the provider's own terms, prices and privacy practices before you use it.
Accuracy
We prepare the courses with care and update them when practice changes. We cannot guarantee that every statement reflects the latest rules or best practice on the day you read it, so for decisions with legal, financial or security consequences, check current official sources or a professional.
Your responsibility
You decide how to use the information. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses resulting from decisions you take on your own without appropriate advice. Nothing in this notice limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the mandatory rights of consumers.
Questions
Write to support@skillfye.com if you want to know exactly what a course covers before you buy. We cannot answer questions about your own legal, tax, financial or security situation.
